These are very funny stories, and the children don&#8217;t want them to stop.&nbsp; The stories are not read out: they are performed, with a range of voices and actions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-25 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-7c8bd86\" data-id=\"7c8bd86\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-25 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-5bbc660\" data-id=\"5bbc660\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8d3d2f6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8d3d2f6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: 1rem;\">I encourage their creativity.<\/strong><br><\/p>\n<p>I include imagination exercises within the main session.&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); font-size: 1rem;\">In later sessions, we can build upon this by inventing full stories together.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-337f150 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"337f150\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-25 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-774ab9f\" data-id=\"774ab9f\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e5b6b9e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e5b6b9e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>I tell them how I write my own stories. <\/strong><\/p><p>I stress that I am not there as a teacher: all I can do is share the things that help me when I write, such as:<\/p><ul><li>\u00a0making simple plans<\/li><li>\u00a0scribbling down lots of ideas<\/li><li>\u00a0using action<\/li><li>\u00a0enjoying my characters.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-25 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-f8f1e37\" data-id=\"f8f1e37\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-25 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-48599d8\" data-id=\"48599d8\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eb027c9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"eb027c9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>I increase their confidence<\/strong><\/p><p>I encourage them to believe that there are many books out there that they really want to read, but haven&#8217;t yet come across.<\/p><p>I tell them how much I disliked writing as a child, but am glad that I kept at it!<\/p><p>I persuade them that they all &#8211;
